Oversized Denim

I recently ran up on this oversized denim jacket hiding in the coat closet in my house. To be honest, I have no idea whose it is. I've asked everyone in my family, yet no one knows... A little strange, if you ask me. Needless to say, I have now taken it under my wing and claimed full ownership of this incredible piece. I love the classic blue of the denim, as well as the dramatic slouch in the back. I paired it with a mini-dress over my leather joggers. To throw in a little mix of prints, I added a black and white polka dot scarf. And for a little bit of an unexpected touch, I added a pair of feminine Mary Jane heels.

Flowing Florals

(Kimono: Forever 21, Sweater: Zara, Shirt: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target, Belt: Target, Pants: H&M, Shoes: Asos)

Happy Monday, everyone! I recently wore this outfit for an interview I filmed for a local television station. I know this shirt seems to constantly be resurfacing, but it just seems to go with everything lately. Something about the color and the fit allows it to be incredibly diverse when it comes to styling. In this particular case, I really love its dramatic contrast with the hot pink flowers in the kimono. To balance the bright colors, I toned down the rest of the look by pulling in neutrals.

Teen Vogue Outfit of the Day Video

Oh my goodness, it's here! I am so excited to share the Outfit of the Day video I shot in New York City for Teen Vogue's YouTube channel! Thanks a million to Mary Kate Steinmiller for asking me to be a part of something so cool.

Wrapped Up

(Coat: Persunmall, Vest: Urban Outfitters, Leather Shirt: Thrifted, Pants: Forever 21, Boots: Vintage, Scarf: Thrifted, Belt: Target, Watch: Fossil)

Hello, hello! Hope you all are having a wonderful Monday. I recently wore this bundled up look for a full day of classes. I'm currently crazy about my new blush colored coat from Persunmall. It's so incredibly warm, and the texture reminds me of a cuddly teddy bear. So, really, what's not to love? Another favorite from this look are these killer vintage boots from the 1960s. I picked them up a few years ago from an awesome street vendor in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. They look like they walked straight out of Woodstock, which is why I instantly knew I had to have them. All in all, this is my ideal outfit for staying warm and being comfortable. Win, win.

Textbook

A pretty crazy thing recently happened. I received a very sweet email from a reader in Portugal who found my blog through her English textbook. Wait, what?! I would have never in a million years expected to end up in a textbook! It's very rewarding when surprising things like this happen.
