Walks Around the Park

Greetings from Tilda and me! When Paris Coming approached me to style some pieces from their website, I couldn't pass up this fun dress. Let's face it, I have a weakness for polka dots. This green kimono is another piece I've been very excited to wear. The sheen of the fabric and the fringe detailing give it the perfect vintage Roaring Twenties vibe. To finish off the look, I added some various pops of red - lips, boots, nails - and my favorite burnt orange hat.

Victorian Touch

Here's a flashback post to one of the Erin Erin Fetherston looks I styled for the Teen Vogue April 2014 prom issue. Throwing in a bit of Victorian detailing into any look is a styling go-to for me, hence the tailcoat and the top hat. For an unexpected and funky twist, I added a pop of color with the cobalt heels. Even though the issue is no longer available on stands, you can always check out some of the looks on TeenVogue.com

The Station

The way I see it, denim and leather are always such a solid pairing that never seems to disappoint. I'm always a fan of mixing different styles and textures of clothing. In this case, I love the rock and roll vibe of the leather paired with the relaxed feel of the denim. This particular shirt really caught my eye because of the pop of cheetah at the top. This bit of detail really took the shirt from being a very common piece to one that is very cool and different. To top the look off, I added a few touches of red to really add a final edge.

Hot Air Balloons

Since moving to Auburn about a month ago, I've been so lucky to have met and become super close with the most incredible group of girls. We all have so much in common, that it's quite difficult to believe it has taken this long to cross each other's paths. Recently, we all woke up at the brink of dawn to attend a hot air balloon festival at sunrise. Granted, at the time, waking up that early on a Saturday morning was a bit grueling, but once we arrived, saw all the beautiful colors of the balloons, and had such a fun time it was worth every minute of lost sleep. There's no doubt in my mind the memories from this very unique morning with such wonderful friends will last forever.
